My model of a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C. The kit is from Fujimi Mokei of Japan.

The kit went together very well with almost no issues. The body is painted with Zero Paints Guardsman blue while the stripes are Tamiya x-2 white. Unfortunately, the kit stripes were too yellowed to use.  The rest of the paint is from Tamiya or Alclad. The steering wheel has a simulated wood rim that I painted with a light brown followed by a darker brown wash streaked on to make an approximation of grain. The dials on the dash are the kit decals with a drop of Future floor wax as the glass.Seeing this picture reminds me that I need to add a dark wash to the grill under the radiator opening. The model comes with Japanese license plates but I think a Texas plate looks good. For some reason my chrome doesn’t show up very well. It’s pretty shiny in real life so I’ll have to try different camera settings.
